Tui Na · 推拿
Tui Na is the hands-on massage tradition of Chinese medicine. We use it to loosen stiff necks, knotted shoulders and tired backs, with pressure that matches what your body needs today.
About Tui Na
The name says it all: tui (推) means to push and na (拿) means to grasp. A Tui Na therapist combines long pushing strokes, kneading, rolling with the back of the hand and steady acupressure on key points along the shoulders, spine and hips.
Compared with a light spa massage, Tui Na is more focused and more active. It is a favourite of people who carry their stress in the neck and upper back: office workers, drivers, parents carrying little ones and anyone who spends hours looking down at a phone.

Comfort & care
Before we start, your therapist will ask where you feel tension and whether there is anything to avoid, such as a recent injury, surgery or pregnancy. During the session, speak up at any time: a good Tui Na session should feel strong but never sharp.
Linens are changed for every guest. For clothed Tui Na, loose comfortable clothing is ideal. If you choose an oil massage, you will be properly draped with towels the whole time.
Please note: massage is for relaxation and general wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a heart condition, blood clots, are pregnant or are recovering from an injury, please check with your doctor first.
